Vendor Spotlight: Baguette Republic
Did you get the quiz question right? Baguette Republics most sold item is sourdough bread!
Baguette Republic is a wholesale artisan bakery in Sterling, Virginia, that supplies local restaurants, cafes, and hotels with fresh, European-style breads, pastries, and viennoiseries, including their signature Parisian baguette, made with traditional techniques and high-quality, unbleached flour. They focus on long fermentation and baking on stone hearths to create a thick crust and airy crumb, delivering products fresh daily, seven days a week, and also sell at local farmers' markets.
Baguette Republic sources all of their raw ingredients from local vendors, keeping their production local (and therefore contributing to the local economy)!
Baguette Republic has been with Field to Table farmers markets for 2 years, and their favorite part of the market is being a part of a thriving community!
Find Baguette Republic at all four of our markets (Westover, Cherrydale, Lubber Run, and Fairlington) during the Spring-Fall season!

Weekly Scavenger Hunt Activity!
Each week, we post a challenge for you all to find chalk drawings of fruits or veggies scattered around the market. Find all of them, and come to the market table for a stamp on your punch card (provided there). Once you get 6 stamps (you get one per week), you get a prize!
The weekly challenge will be posted in the newsletter and Instagram, which can be found, here!

March Activity Sneak Peek: Craft at the Market!
The first day of Spring is March 20th! We will be celebrating the coming of Spring at the market with a craft at the market - Tissue paper flowers!
This is an easy, no mess activity that is great to bring home with your farmers market purchases! We will have instructions at the market table, as well as Market Assistants that can help guide you through the activity!
