Village Cheeseworks was founded on the saying, “it takes a village” to produce a product that supports local farmers and connects with community. They offer an array of cheeses, named after historic villages in Virginia, such as Attoka and Zulla. They purposefully package cheese in a week’s worth quantity, so you can come back each week to get your favorites or try something new!
Check out their Pumpkin Pie Cheese Spread this weekend! Find them on Instagram here.

Vendor Spotlight: Cold Country Salmon
Cold Country Salmon is a small scale fishing operation working the crystal clear blue waters of Southeast Alaska. Local owner/fisherman Zac Culbertson lives just outside of Charlottesville where, when not fishing, he runs a small acreage family farm. He and his fishing team head to Southeast Alaska from mid June to the end of August, where they catch all of the amazing fish they have to purchase.
Check out their stand this weekend to purchase from their wide variety of wild fish. You can also partake in their Wild Seafood Shares!

Vendor Spotlight: Rock Hill Honey Bee Farms
Visit Rock Hill Honey Bee farms for some delicious honey! Based in Stafford, VA, Rock Hill Honey Farms is a small apiary, averaging 150-300 live hives at a time. Nothing is ever added to or removed from their raw honey, so what you buy comes to you exactly the way the bees made it, ensuring you enjoy a natural sweetener that’s packed with healthy benefits.
Honey tip: Add honey to your coffee in the morning! It not only adds a delicious flavor, but raw honey is released slowly into the bloodstream, instead of all at once, which means it’s better for your body than traditional sweeteners. Find them on Instagram here.

Weekly Scavenger Hunt Activity!
Each week, we post a challenge for you all to find chalk drawings of fruits or veggies scattered around the market. Find all of them, and come to the market table for a stamp on your punch card (provided there). Once you get 6 stamps (you get one per week), you get a prize!
The weekly challenge will be posted in the newsletter and Instagram, which can be found, here!

Live Music: Nick Adde
Visit this Sunday to hear Nick Adde on the guitar. Enjoy listening as you shop!
