Vendor Spotlight: Pasta Ilgatto

This week’s Weekly Vendor Spotlight is Pasta Ilgatto! Founded by Chef Leo, Pasta Ilgatto has been selling at Westover farmers Market for three years and is also a vendor at Fairlington Farmers Market (Opening Day May 3rd).

Pasta Ilgatto’s pasta is made daily from scratch, using top-quality ingredients such as semolina, soft wheat flour, and fresh eggs. Their filled pasta, flavored dough, and sauces are crafted with fresh vegetables, cheeses, and premium meats.

One of their sources of pride is crafting our products by hand, steering clear of preservatives, and sourcing as much as possible from local producers. Additionally they try to use compostable bags the majority of the time!

Their most popular item is their smoked brisket ravoli which Chef Leo suggests pairing with one of their sauces or with a simple olive oil and parmesan.

Check out the video below of some of their pasta being made! And watch the Westover Farmers Market Instagram @westoverfarmersmarket for our video interview with Chef Leo coming soon!
