Summer at the Market: New Scavenger Hunt Activity at Westover!
July 26th & 27th

Field to Table hosts four local farmers markets in the Arlington, Virginia area that provide goods grown, harvested, or produced within 125 miles of the markets. We are committed to providing fresh, high-quality products while facilitating a welcoming community atmosphere.

This weekend is AFAC Weekend!
Over 3,850 Arlington families weekly rely on AFAC groceries for their regular meals.
Donate to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) at our Market Tables
The last weekend of each month, Field to Table highlights the impactful work that AFAC does in our community. We have partnered with the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) to have donation boxes available each week at all farmers markets.
AFAC is in most need of canned fruits, canned tuna, canned soups, canned vegetables, canned tomatoes, peanut butter (in a plastic jar), cereal, and plastic water bottles! Learn more.

Looking for some fun yard games and crafts?
We’ll have connect four, corn hole, ring toss, and hula hoops, as well as coloring for kids at the Market Tent. Stop by to enjoy some fun time outside, before it gets too hot!

Vendor Spotlight: Great Valley Farms
Great Valley Farms is a family-owned business serving farm fresh produce and canned goods. They can be found at Lubber Run, Cherrydale, and Westover markets. They are based in Mount Jackson, Virginia and serve all of the Shenandoah Valley and Northern Virginia.
Visit their stand for canned goods, fresh produce, and plants!

Live Music: The Misfits Jug Band

Join us for the farmers market debut of local Fairlington musicians Mike Rosenberger and Paul McLaughlin!
Vendor Spotlight: Kiwi Kuisine
Get your savory pies, kombucha, green juice, and lemonade at Kiwi Kuisine! They offer a wide range of pies, all made with fresh, natural ingredients, all without trans fats, and made in a peanut and tree nut free bakery!
Check out their new Pork and Green Chili Pie! Made with tender, slow roasted pork in a zesty sauce of green chilis with corn, black beans, red peppers, and Mexican seasoning. All contained in a flaky butter pastry crust.

Now, she is visiting our markets to capture their community glow. Please feel free to say hi to Tenley and take a look at what she is working on, but be mindful of her space while working. Visit this vendor for a doughnut and coffee to start your day! Built from the desire to create a welcoming, all-day café that feels like the heart of the neighborhood, Good Company started in Ballston. They now have locations in Arlington and Washington, D.C. and sell at our Cherrydale and Lubber Run markets.

New Scavenger Hunt Activity!
Introducing, our weekly scavenger hunt! Each week, we will be posting a challenge for you all to find chalk drawings of fruits or veggies scattered around the market. Find all of them, and come to the market table for a stamp on your punch card (provided there). Once you get 6 stamps, you get a prize!
The weekly challenge will be posted in the newsletter and Instagram, which can be found, here!
